Back in 1979 Helmut Beck, who later founded the market-leading IT service provider "dsb", founded the company PVS (“Presse Versand Service” - "Press Distribution Service"). In the early years, PVS specialised in addressing and packaging print products such as magazines and advertising flyers. The high point for PVS at that time was the early 1990s, when direct marketing was the middleman of choice in every B2C business.
In 1991 Ulrich Beck, the founder's son, made the strategic decision to discontinue the traditional press distribution business and instead to establish a new PVS, which since then has stood for "Produkt Versand Services” ("Product Distribution Services”).
Today PVS Fulfillment Service GmbH is one of the leading fulfilment companies on the market managed by its owners. With a number of subsidiaries in Germany as well as in Italy and the Benelux countries, PVS is committed to achieving its vision with our F4E network: THE PREMIUM EUROPEAN FULFILLMENT PLATFORM.
