After more than three years as Interim CEO, I will return to the Advisory Board on September 1, 2025. This step has been prepared for some time and sets the stage for the next development phase of our group.
On August 1, 2025, Ingo Ax assumed the position of CEO of the PVS Group.
Ingo Ax brings proven expertise in the digital and e-commerce sector. He will consistently drive the transformation of PVS from a fulfillment service provider to a cross-border eCommerce Service Provider (ESP), with a particular focus on scalability, process quality, and cross-border solutions.

Our Structure: Three Business Units, One Clear Vision
In recent years, the PVS Group has further developed structurally. Today, three independent business units form the foundation of our positioning:
1. Fulfillment B2C and B2B:
Six logistics sites across the DACH region and Italy, integrated IT, efficient infrastructure, and increasing automation.
2. Customer Contact Management:
Through our subsidiary PVS RS, we provide cross-channel customer service, returns communication, and customer experience management, closely integrated with the group’s operational processes.
3. Merchant of Records:
With our newest subsidiary, PVS eServices S.R.L. in Italy, we are active in this field. From there, we are strategically expanding our services in marketplace integration, billing, and regulatory handling — an important nucleus of our European ESP vision.
In Preparation: “fly-commerce” as a Platform-as-a-Service Solution
In the next two years, we plan to launch a fourth business unit: the Platform-as-a-Service solution fly-commerce, enabling clients to digitally manage e-commerce processes, including cross-border operations. A core aspect is shared warehousing. The goal is to increase efficiency by intelligently combining our own structures with 3PL solutions.
Our Answer to Economic Challenges: Hybrid Automation
The continuous increases in statutory minimum wages have a significant impact on labor-intensive, mid-sized service providers. The PVS Group must also absorb these developments economically without compromising quality and delivery reliability.
We examined the relocation of processes to low-wage countries in Eastern Europe but decided against it. Any supposed savings would be offset by longer delivery times, reduced controllability, and current political uncertainties.
Our answer is hybrid automation, as in the past. In the coming two to three years, we will make targeted investments in intelligent solutions, ranging from Autostore and AMR to automated packaging machines. The total investment volume is in the double-digit million range. We deploy technology where it delivers measurable efficiency. People remain central where experience and intuition make the difference.
Networking in Europe
We are intensifying our involvement in the Fulfillment for Europe (F4E) association to advance digital solutions for cross-border goods flows (lineholds). The combination of operational excellence, technological focus, and strategic networking makes the PVS Group competitive today and in the future.
PVS is ready for the next development phase, with a clear structure, a well-coordinated team, and new leadership responsibility.
