PVS Scherrer AG – an innovative greeting from Switzerland

The PVS Group and Scherrer Textillogistik AG jointly establish the joint venture “PVS Scherrer AG”, based in St. Margreten, Switzerland. Both companies are also founding members of the international association ,,Fulfillment for Europe” e.V.

Scherrer is a leading company in the field of textile logistics and delivery in Switzerland. “Our customers increasingly want to implement e-commerce solutions as well,” says Andreas Scherrer, Managing Director of Scherrer AG. “So it was obvious to deepen our successful, long-standing business relationship with PVS and dress it up in appropriate institutional garb.”

PVS’s clients are very interested in entering and expanding the attractive Swiss market, which holds great potential but also special challenges for online retailers. “Entering the market was only an option for us with an experienced and familiar logistics company,” says Heinz Karow, CEO of the PVS Group.

The clients of PVS Scherrer AG thus have a proven e-commerce team at their side right from the start. Scherrer is responsible for logistics, returns processing, customs clearance, fiscal representation and – as a special treat – customer service in “Swiss German”, while PVS is responsible for foreign-language customer service, IT and payment transactions.
